Mobile Guardian's Classroom Manager - a Bett 2021 Finalist

Welcome to our first post for 2021.

As a 2021 Bett Awards Finalist, the year has gotten off to quite a start here at Mobile Guardian. We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that our classroom manager tool has been short-listed in the classroom aids for learning, teaching and assessment category.

First and foremost, we’d like to say thank you to the judges. We’re honoured to appear alongside our fellow nominees; inspiring technology companies, who like us, aim to make a positive impact in the lives of educators every day.

In case this is your first time visiting our site, Mobile Guardian enables learning from anywhere. Purpose-built for education, the cloud-based solution empowers teachers in the remote classroom, safeguards students online and allows large school groups to maximise their investment in mobile devices.

With easy-to-use classroom management tools, web-filtering, linked parental controls and mobile device management. The platform offers user-based roles for IT administrators, teachers and parents and is unique in supporting Android, ChromeOS, iOS and macOS devices.

Integrating with both Apple Classroom and the Google for Education suite, Mobile Guardian supports remote classrooms on Android, ChromeOS, iOS and macOS and Windows devices. The user-based roles for IT Administrators, teachers and parents, the platform unites all stakeholders in education, enabling them to collaborate effectively in a remote learning environment.

“It is with immense pride that we announce this nomination. 2020 was an incredibly tough year for educators and 2021 looks set to follow suit. We’re grateful to be helping schools, teachers and students navigate this new paradigm by removing some of the obstacles associated with remote learning. Our cloud-based solution helps teachers create engaging learning environments, whether students are learning in the lounge, or in their kitchens. Our parental controls have also made a significant difference to parents who are working from home and struggling to manage both their workload and their child’s schooling schedule.” - Patrick Lawson, CEO of Mobile Guardian.

Winners will be announced on the 16th June, so keep your eyes on this space. We hope the year continues the way it has started. Despite the significant change and uncertainty, it looks set to be a good one for education technology companies the world over.

Despite significant change and uncertainty, 2020 showed that all of us are capable of overcoming enormous challenges. We’re grateful that we’re able to continue to build software that makes a difference in classrooms the world over.

Onwards
